Creating Your Account, Business Profile, and App
 

Follow this guide to create your account, business profile, and app, and generate your first  API key.

Step 1: Create Your Account
 

1. Visit daraza.net and click "Sign Up".
    
2. Fill out the registration form with your:
   • Email Address
   • Password
   • Username
      
3. Accept the Terms and Conditions and click "Sign Up".
   
   
    
4. Verify your email address by clicking the link in the confirmation email sent to you.

Step 2: Log In to Your Account
 

1. Go to daraza.net and click "Log In".
    
2. Enter your registered email and password.
    
3. Click "Log In" to access your dashboard.

Step 3: Create a Business Profile
 

1. On the dashboard, navigate to "Business Profile".
    
2. Fill in your business details:
   • Business Type (e.g., individual, organisation, corporate.)
   • Business Name
   • You Business Logo
   • Email (Business email)
   • Phone (Business phone)
   • Address (Businsess address)
   • City 
   • About (Optional but it would be good to write your about your bsuiness to the make the process of verifying your business easier and faster) 
      
3. Submit the form by clicking "Create Business Profile".

Step 4: Create an App
 

1. After completing your business profile, go to the "Apps" section in the dashboard.
    
2. Click "Create App".
    
3. Provide the following details:
   • App Name (e.g., My Payment App).
   • Client (this is your business profile).
   • API ( the api you want to use e.g  MTN Momo)
      
4. Click "Create App" to create the app.

Step 5: Retrieve Your API Key
 

1. Once the app is created, an API Key will be generated and displayed.
    
2. Important: This API key will only be shown once.
   • Copy the key and store it securely (e.g., in a password manager or secure notes).
      
3. If the API key is lost, you’ll need to regenerate it, which may temporarily disrupt your app’s functionality.
